I seek out and capture the mood and emotion felt prior to the game. Regarding Roller Derby; the moments beforehand are spent in isolated preparation: each skater lost in their own thoughts as the start draws near. What I find are those moments, whether it be one filled with confidence and determination, or a moment filled with doubt. In the locker room these emotions become apparent in subtle movements and expressions.
